Women's Wear Daily taps India as "The Next China" in terms of luxury consumption and development, with foreign brands wanting to cash in on a predicted retail boom and open stores now.  India, like China, has increasingly large business and wealthy classes and has become receptive to Western concepts, brands and trends over the past ten years.
