Chip & Pepper School Spirit
Showing school spirit has just gotten cooler. High-end denim brand Chip & Pepper has collaborated with universities like NYU and Florida State to produce a line of tees, sweats, fleece and track suits with school logos. According to WWD, the company is describing the line, to launch in November, as "luxe collegiate". Interestingly, it won't be available at campus bookstores but instead at Barneys, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus.

LuxNews: China to Dominate Luxe Market
According to WWD, Chinese consumers are likely to account for almost a quarter of global luxury goods purchases by as early as 2014, making these customers the number-one purchasers of luxury goods in the world. Note that this is about nationality, not country of purchase, as luxury shoppers from emerging markets spend more on high-end goods while traveling than when at home.
